A region, not a country, represented from Singapore.
The Latin American Chamber of Commerce (Singapore), known as LatAmCham, was established in 2014 as the first Latin American Chamber of Commerce in Asia.

What the chamber is for
As the representative voice of Latin American companies, we provide value for our members by fostering a robust ecosystem that promotes the establishment and growth of their businesses.
To be acknowledged as a pivotal institution in the business landscape, serving as a facilitator for commercial exchanges and fostering robust connections between Latin America and Southeast Asia regions.
latamcham.org/about-latamchamOver the past decade, LatAmCham has evolved from a networking platform into a business development engine for its members: brainstorming sessions that identify promising opportunities and cultivate them into solid foundations.
The chamber states that it has an extensive network of strategic partnerships with trade associations and chambers of commerce, and invites any Latin American trade association or chamber seeking to broaden its Southeast Asia connections, or the reverse, to engage with it.
Their own three objectives
- Champion the interests of Latin American companies in Southeast Asia through advocacy and collaboration.
- Facilitate and enhance trade and investments between Southeast Asia and Latin America.
- Cultivate cross-cultural relations between the regions.
A Management Board and an Executive Office
How the chamber describes its own shape: a Management Board and Executive Office in Singapore, embassy partnerships running in both directions, Senior Representatives placed in Latin American countries, and a named forum, LABA, for the Singapore side of the exchange.
The LatAmCham Team operates under the strategic direction of the Management Board, which formulates and oversees the chamber’s strategy, efficiently implemented by the Executive Office.
Collaboration extends to close partnerships with the Embassies of Latin American countries in Singapore and Singapore’s own Non-Resident Ambassadors to Latin America, with periodic quarterly or ad-hoc meetings convened to solicit feedback.
In Latin American countries, LatAmCham is represented by a network of Senior Representatives with extensive familiarity with Singapore and an extensive local network.
The chamber has also initiated the Latin American Business Ambassadors (LABA), a forum it facilitates for information exchange with the Singapore business community, aimed at supporting Singaporean companies entering Latin American markets.

LatAmCham describes itself as ready to support a company’s journey into the Latin American or Southeast Asian market, with a service chosen to match the business objective.
Southeast Asia, LatAmCham’s own incubator page states, has a population of 663 million, of whom 516 million are internet users and online consumers.
